November 3, 2001 - Yes, We're Still Alive
Ok, so it's been a few weeks ... er, months. We've been a little busy.

Just a quick note to say that we are all well. For those who are wondering, we are about 5 hours away from NYC and, as far as we know, all family and friends who are downstate escaped injury.

We are moved into the new house and have most of our boxes unpacked. I must give a belated, yet heart-felt thank you to everyone from the dojo in LA who showed up for the packing party. After that chaotic hell of frenzied packing, I am happy to announce that only one item was damaged in the move, and it was a picture that I never really liked anyways. Y'all are the best!

Our good friend Theresa drove my car out from LA in October. While she was here, we took her to try something you just can't find in Southern California - fresh Empire Apples. Here are some pictures from our apple picking excursion with the family.
