ALBANY -- State Sen. George H. Winner Jr., R-Elmira, has asked Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver to include a provision in the 2005-06 state budget that will allow Finger Lakes wineries and wineries statewide to ship their products directly to out-of-state customers.

Edward Kennedy endorsed President Clinton’s budget plan today. The Massachusetts senator said he believes the budget is sound.
